1. Vista Equity buying stake in another Denver tech business

    Majority ownership of Granicus, a Denver-based maker of cloud software technologies for local governments, is being bought by investment firm Vista Equity Partners for an undisclosed amount of money.

    The deal is expected to close next month and comes just weeks after San Francisco-based Vista Equity reached a deal to buy Denver-based software company Ping Identity.
