    Denver was a magnet for some of the world's most recognizable tech companies in 2018

    The flock of Bay Area tech companies expanding into Denver picked up speed as the year went on, establishing the city as the country’s next big tech hub. In January, Strava, maker of an exercise-tracking software, announced the opening of its Denver office. The company has 20 people in Denver today, but it’s currently advertising a slew of engineering jobs for its office here. Throughout the year, a number of large and well-known companies, in addition to some smaller startups, announced plans to expand into Denver, promising hundreds of jobs.
