    Woodward, GE in joint venture for aircraft fuel systems

    Colorado manufacturer Woodward Inc. says it has launched a joint venture with the aviation unit of General Electric Co. for fuel systems for GE's large commercial aircraft engine lines. The 50-50 joint venture "will design, develop, source, supply and service the fuel system, including components from the fuel inlet up to the fuel nozzle," for GE Aviation's GE90, GEnx and GE9X commercial engines and all future large commercial engines it develops, Fort Collins-based Woodward (Nasdaq: WWD) said in a statement.
