Taking it on the road
It's summertime, and we are taking the Colorado Technology Association on the road. Time to get out of Denver, cruise the awesome roads of Colorado and discover where we can get lost, without any cell coverage, in Colorado!
We are excited to depart on our inaugural Colorado Tech Tour on July 20th. 5 cities, 5 days and numerous conversations for us to connect with all things technology in our state. As Colorado continues to grow and become a core hub of technology in the U.S., it has never been more important for us to work together and collaborate to raise the profile of our technology community, across our regions. Plus, we want to take the opportunity to showcase how technology works in places like Telluride and Frisco – yes, you can live in paradise and still build a great technology company!
Why are we taking the Tour you may ask?
We believe that behind all of our growing communities is a core of technology. Technology is everywhere, not just on the Front Range. This tour is an opportunity for our members to join us in meeting the leaders of communities outside the Denver metro, understanding and listening to their issues and opportunities, and creating the fabric for us all to work more together to elevate our industry.
Who is on the Tour? Can you join us?
The Tour will be led by the leadership of the Colorado Technology Association, Colorado Office of Information Technology, Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade and the Colorado Innovation Network. In addition, great partners including CenturyLink, Viawest, SwiftPage and GTRI will be along for the adventure looking to connect our communities. We would love for you to join us on any stop along the Tour. You can register and learn more about each location on the Tour site.
This “road trip” is a perfect excuse for you to learn more about all the great technology communities in our state. Join us, for any or all, and we look forward to seeing you on the road.
Our APEX Awards nominations close on August 7th. Please think through your partners, leadership and community leaders who would be most deserving of the recognition.
