    Colorado added more jobs in the third quarter than originally reported

    Despite the downturn in the oil and gas industry, Colorado and Denver added more jobs in the third quarter of 2015 than originally reported.

    There were declines in the mining and logging sectors, which include oil and gas jobs, and in construction.

    However, other industry sectors — like healthcare, education and leisure and hospitality — added jobs and helped the state maintain strong state job growth – estimated now at 59,800 jobs added in 2015.
