Colorado businesses worry about talent shortage; optimism down from a year ago

The confidence level of Colorado business leaders about the economy going into the second quarter is unchanged from three months ago, but is sharply lower than it was a year ago. And more than half of those surveyed say that Colorado is suffering from a talent shortage that could hurt their business. That's according to results of the latest quarterly survey of the expectations of state businesses from the University of Colorado Boulder's Leeds School of Business, released Thursday.
