Colorado university to become region's 1st federal research hub

Denver Business Journal

The University of Colorado-Boulder will join 19 other universities across the nation as a federal data research hub, the university announced Tuesday. CU-Boulder will create the Rocky Mountain region's first research data center, housed at the Institute of Behavioral Science using a $300,000 grant from the National Science Foundation. University officials said they expect the center to be a boon for researchers and help CU-Boulder draw in more prospective faculty and graduate students.
