Colorado aerospace company buys Rolls-Royce parts maker for $859 million

Woodward Inc. said it's buying L’Orange, a fuel injection systems technology company owned by Rolls-Royce, for $859 million. Fort Collins-based Woodward (Nasdaq: WWD) said Germany-based L’Orange is one of the world's leading suppliers of fuel injection systems for industrial diesel, heavy fuel oil and dual-fuel engines.
