Incentives garner Colorado more than 6,800 new jobs in 2018

State officials garnered a lot of attention in 2018 for their successful recruiting of VF Corporation’s headquarters, which will relocate from Greensboro, North Carolina, to Denver’s Union Station neighborhood in mid-2019. But that company was just one of 20 that accepted job-growth incentive tax credits from the Colorado Economic Development Commission this year to create as many as 6,821 new jobs in the state over the next eight years.
