Polis signs law to create program simplifying Colorado's sales-tax system

SB 6, sponsored by Sen. Angela Williams, D-Denver, requires the state to put in place a system with which business owners can easily determine the level of taxes owed based upon the address to where they ship, as well as the particular taxing districts to who they owe the money, and to which they can submit taxes for all local governments and have the state parse out those various revenues.
