A four-year college degree isn’t for everybody. In fact, it’s not for about half of Colorado’s adult population, and that’s something the state is both trying to change and leverage. The Colorado Department of Higher Education’s 2017 master plan calls for boosting the number of Coloradans in the 25- to 30-year-old range with postsecondary degrees, including credentials like certificates, to 66% by 2025.
