      Denver salary data company acquired

      PayScale and its majority shareholder, Warburg Pincus, have acquired a controlling stake in Denver-based MarketPay.

      The two companies, which specialize in different types of technology and data platforms that help businesses determine their salaries, will retain all of MarketPay’s 65 employees and PayScale’s 275 employees, said PayScale CEO Mike Metzger.
