      Optiv buys California company, expanding its cybersecurity reach

      Denver-based Optiv Security Inc. has acquired another cybersecurity business to get deeper into identity management technologies and give Optiv a presence in India. Optiv bought Advancive Technology Solutions, a Pasadena, California-based identity management consultancy. The transaction, which closed Friday, was announced Tuesday afternoon. Terms were not disclosed. The deal adds Advancive’s 35 identity management specialists to the 50 people at Optiv working on identity management.
