The Greeley-based company raised $8,999,941, according to a Form D filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Aug. 16. The company raised the funds through an equity offering, as well as an option to acquire other securities and securities to be acquired upon exercise of an option. The date of first sale was Aug. 8.

      Colorado Securities Commissioner Gerald Rome has issued a cease and desist order against the Florida-based cryptocurrency firm Linda Healthcare Corporation and its founder Arturo Devesa, a Colorado Division of Securities release said Monday. The order came after Colorado Administrative Law Judge Matthew Norwood ruled on July 6 that Linda Healthcare Corporation’s initial coin offering, commonly referred to as an ICO, constituted a securities offering.
