      Growth in video ads helps Altitude Digital get $30 million funding

      Altitude Digital on Thursday said it received $30 million to build its video advertising empire.

      The Denver company plans to use the funds from FastPay Partners to expand internationally, invest in data centers and push heavily into mobile video advertising, said Jeremy Ostermiller, the firm's founder and CEO.

      "We're doing mobile right now, but we're going to really be jumping in with both feet and building bigger, better and faster technology around mobile," said Ostermiller, a Colorado native.

      Participants will perform an act of goodwill then use the hashtag #StateOfKind. Wayin collects the information and posts it to www.stateofkind.co which has a counter showing how many acts of kindness its recorded.

Two years later, changes have been made, and the town seems ready to handle the technology load coming to the valley with the 2015 World Alpine Ski Championships. Riley was out of town through most of the holidays, but others in town say Vail’s cell phone service is much, much improved.
