      Loveland business accelerator wins $50K from SBA

      The Warehouse Business Accelerator in Loveland is one of four Colorado business accelerators to win $50,000 through the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Growth Accelerator Fund Competition. Eighty accelerators in 39 states also won awards, including two in Boulder and one in Alamosa.       Development picks up at Harmony Technology Park

      Harmony Technology Park is starting to fill in with new proposals for a long-term care facility, retail, restaurants, office space and a possible hotel. Brinkman Partners, which moved its headquarters to HTP late last year, has proposed developing a retail center on nine acres along the Harmony Road frontage’s south side. They will review preliminary designs with the city on Wednesday.

      Fort Collins chamber of commerce gets national nod

      The Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce became Colorado’s highest accredited business network Tuesday when it was recognized by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. The Fort Collins chamber received a 5-Star accreditation from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce for the quality of its programs, procedures and contributions to the community, according to a news release. Only 1 percent of chambers nationwide receive the honor.
